The Sara Hightower Regional Library Board Meetings will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, in the Barron Room of the Rome Floyd County Library. The Library Buildings Committee will meet at 3:00 p.m.; the Finance Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m.; and the Board of Trustees will meet at 4:00 p.m.

About the Library

Located next to the river on Riverside Parkway, the Rome-Floyd County Library serves as the headquarters to the Sara Hightower Regional Library System. Our library offers a variety of services to Rome residents including access to thousands of books, DVDs and audio; genealogical records; an ESL & Adult Learning Center; publicly available computers; free WiFi so you can bring your own laptop or Internet-enabled device; a complete history of Rome, Georgia; and our children’s program Story Time for children 18 months to five years old.
